Hi, I'm Salomon Zavala!

I’m Salomon Zavala, the Founder and Managing Attorney at Zavala Law Group.

I provide strategic, client-focused legal counsel and take pride in my ability to negotiate effectively while approaching every case with compassion and integrity.

Over the years, I’ve helped clients across California achieve seven-figure settlements in civil rights and serious personal injury cases, including those involving police misconduct and wrongful death.

I also serve as General Counsel for several small businesses and nonprofit organizations, handling employment, immigration, and complex civil litigation matters.

My experience at a large firm gave me a strong foundation in managing depositions, mediations, and compliance trainings.

I’m deeply committed to our firm’s pro bono work, representing minors in asylum cases, advocating for wrongful conviction relief, and supporting indigenous rights.

I earned my B.A. with honors from Amherst College in 2001 and my J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law in 2005.

I was raised in South Central Los Angeles by Mexican parents and am fluent in Spanish.

Today, I continue to serve on the boards of community-based nonprofits that focus on indigenous development and victims’ advocacy in Los Angeles.
